Compliance

Wind requires all users to be verified by our compliance procedure. Please see the compliance requirements based on the product you use at Wind. Wind uses Sumsub as its identity verification platform.

1. Wind App - Users will be required to perform an Individual KYC (Know Your Customer)

2. Wind Business - Users will be required to perform either

   1. Individual KYC - For individual contractors OR,

   2. Business KYB - For businesses willing to run salaries and payments

3. Wind APIs - Wind requires every customer to go through our compliance screening procedure to use any of our services. As an API customer you have the following options:

   1. Use Wind built-in Compliance and KYC/B features and verify your customers using our Sumsub WebSDK

   2. [Coming soon] Use Wind Applicant creation to pass necessary data about your customer through our APIs. This works best if you already have KYC/B and AML procedures in place.

   3. [Recommended] If you are using Sumsub as your ID verification partner, then you can sign a DTA with us to share Reusable KYC/B tokens with Wind.
